WirelessNetView is a small utility that monitors the activity of wireless networks around you. The program runs in the background and displays SSID, Last Signal Quality, Average Signal Quality, Detection Counter, Authentication Algorithm, Cipher Algorithm, MAC Address, RSSI, Channel Frequency, Channel Number and more.

How to extract:
  1. Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice
  2. Launch WirelessNetView.exe
  3. Optionally, download oui.txt to the same folder to show the company name associated with the MAC address (e.g. Intel network devices always start with code 00A092)

What's new?
  • Added 'MAC Addresses List' option (Ctrl+F8), which allows you to create a list of MAC addresses and their description. The description specified in this list will be displayed under the 'Description' column. The MAC addresses list is saved in 'WirelessNetView_MAC_List.txt' located in the same folder of WirelessNetView.exe.

Was debugging my wifi connection and tried to use this on Windows 10. Windows Defender really doesn't like this tool. I know we can trust Nir though.

@_philippe I couldn't agree more, this program does exactly what I want and need without a lot of worthless things taking up space, and doing nothing or very little. Thanks for a great program.

Homedale wifi monitor delivers real-time graphics (access point signal and frequency usage),
as well as several log options lacking in WNV.

good stuff.. the developer has some really useful apps. that are tiny, light, portable, and stealth!

anything from this developer is great.

ie. SearchMyFiles is a simplistic, powerful, and only app. that is able to search x64 directories.
