I reckon there should be a mention somewhere in the entry's description that Atom is based on (in fact, is like the ur-deployment of) the Electron framework [https:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electron_(software_framework)! Broken URL, please copy excluding the exclamation, paste and amend].

Bat To Exe Converter takes DOS or Windows batch file scripts (.bat and .cmd) and converts them into executable (.exe) files. This is useful for creating shortcuts on USB flash drives along with their appropriate icons, preventing an annoying batch window from appearing, and includes encryption and decompiler features.
NOTE: Due to use of a distributed hosting service that requires a separate client, we're linking to Softpedia.

Bat to Exe Converter ver. 3.2.0.0 released at July 30, 2019.

The download link on the page for version 3.1.00 links to a Softpedia page from which you can download version 3.2.0.0, either as an exe installer or as Bat_To_Exe_Converter.exe or as Bat_To_Exe_Converter_(x64).exe as binaries). There are no zip files. The version number and the "How to extract" instructions need modification to reflect this.

This might be nice if it had colour syntax highlighting for the different regex elements. What *IS* good about this simple tester is that, unlike Expresso, it will test PCRE.

Just an FYI - Tried a couple times to download and then tried to access the authors website and got a Connection Timed Out and Problem Loading Page errors. Don't know if it's a permanant thing. Poked around and found version 1.4 on Softpedia. Also found on SharewareJunction but SJ redirects to www.waterproof.fr so got the same time out error.

The current version of this (v2.4.2.431) isn't stealth; it leaves a bunch of registry keys (albeit all empty) at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\First Objective Software\foxe.
