ComicsViewer is an image viewer specially tailored to viewing scanned comics. The program can modify colors, contrast, and other elements on the fly and will rotates your view of images with your screen in portrait orientation. It has an available slide show,

The program can view most common graphics formats including Jpeg2000 and allows export to JPEG, BMP, and PNG. It is also able to directly display images stored in ZIP and RAR files (even with password protection).

FocusOn Image Viewer lets you view, organize, and make changes to images without modifying the original. The program includes edition tools like color, brightness, rotation, frames, and various filters. Thumbnail views, broad image format support, easy sharing, and metadata tools are also available. Batch operations are available for modifying or renaming any number of files, as well as automatic archiving and image management.

ZoomIt provides three useful tools for almost any presentation including a screen zoom, annotation tool, and break timer. The zoom option helps focus on a specific point or part of the screen while the annotation tool can help emphasize or edit what's shown (press Ctrl+S to save a screenshot).

The program includes customisable hotkeys, zoom levels, two different kinds of zoom (a "live" zoom as well as a passive read-only view), and a variety of different annotation features.

Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder is a powerful tool that helps you to find and remove duplicate photos or similar pictures on your PC. It is able to compare pictures that were resized or with corrected colors (e.g. contrast modified, black and white photos etc.).

RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool) presents a before-and-after image compression view that allows you to reduce file size of an image into JPG, PNG, or GIF format. Includes optional metadata removal, batch operations, compression to a target file size, transparency options, and other common editing functions (flip, rotate, zoom, pan). Notable versus similar software in the ability to gradually reduce the available colors one-by-one (7, 8, 9, 10...), not just milestones of 16, 32, 64 etc.

Functional in Linux using Wine. Many of the official entries here on PortableFreeware have used RIOT for compression. Note that the installer version of this program is considered adware.

The program can create QR codes for text, URL's, SMS, email, phones, contact cards, Wi-Fi networks, geolocation and BlackBerry Messenger PIN. The generated QR code can be saved as BMP or PNG.

Iconus is an icon viewer that lets you view icons via drag-and-drop from various file types including .dll, .exe, .icl, and .ico types. You can easily switch between libraries, extract single icons, view at 16x16 or 32x32 pixels, and fetch the icon's ID.
