DesktopZoom v3.5 (http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=957#comments) stays magnifying when you click on an item.

I have had to use Desktop Zoom for real recently after an eye operation, and have uninstalled it. It would always fairly quickly lead to complete system lockup on my Win 7 Home Premium PC, mouse and keyboard completely useless, no pssibility to launch Task manager, hard shutdown the only option. |
WinSize2 provides several window management tools in one. The program automatically re-sizes windows according to predefined sizes, saves and restores icon positions on the desktop that get moved during resolution changes, and even renames window titles or and can send an application predefined characters (e.g. some Tab characters to set the focus in the window to a special field).
The program stores individual window positions for unique resolution settings (e.g. larger screens settings may want larger sizes to fit the screen precisely).

Love this program but had serious slow down problems on to Vista Ultimate 32-bit machines. Still useful -- just had to only use keyboard controls rather than the ctrl+mouse-scroll.
