Password Tech is a suite of security tools, including a strong random password and data file generator, text encryption tool, and master password generator.

• Random number generator - Create lists of random characters or passphrases from word lists. Includes multiple features to select easy-to-remember passwords that still conform to security standards.
  
• Text encryption - Uses the Windows clipboard (copy and paste) to encrypt text via hotkey. Also enables caching the password temporarily so you don't have to re-enter the password repeatedly.
  
• Master password - Rather than storing a specific password, the program generates the same password everytime. This is created via a master and perimeter words (e.g. service + email) to generate a high security password.

Network Password Recovery finds the password saved when a machine connects to a remote server for the currently logged-on user. Saved passwords include LAN network shares or .NET Passport account. FirePasswordViewer recovers login passwords stored by Firefox such as username and password for every website visited by the user. CherryTree is an hierarchical note-taking application. It features rich-text formatting, syntax highlighting, spell-checking, image insertion and password protection. Clibor is a feature-rich, customisable, and easy-to-use clipboard manager. It supports "set phrases" (possible to sort into groups and add memos) and changing of the format of the content within the clipboard history (regular expression of find and replace text, aligning similar pattern etc). The program offers different copy/paste modes (FIFO/LIFO), shortcut keys, incremental search, encryption (using a startup password), selection of multiple items, backup/restore and more.

The program can store up to 10,000 clipboard items.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a skinnable, feature-rich email, calendar, task and instant messaging client with support for plugins and many protocols. It comes with advanced search tools, message filtering, Bayesian spam detector, built-in spell checker, mailbox compression and many more. Program features can be extended with add-ons, including a specialized version of email encryption tool GPG.

Email protocols include SMTP, POP3, IMAP (including uploads, albeit a date issue), NNTP and RSS and chat support for IRC, Twitter, XMPP, Google Talk, and Matrix. Also supports OAuth for use with accounts that require it instead of a password.

Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition is a special build licensed by Mozilla. Alternatively, X-Thunderbird is also available. For XP/Vista, version 52.9.1 is available here.

KeePass is a password manager that helps you store and manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key-disk. You need only remember one single master password to unlock the whole database, which is encrypted using AES and Twofish algorithms. The program includes a strong automatic password generator, expire dates, customized icons and categories etc.

qBittorrent is a configurable and feature-rich file sharing client modeled as an open alternative to µTorrent. The program includes a web interface, RSS, scheduler, IP Filtering (eMule and PeerGuardian compatible), IPv6 compliance, support for all extensions (DHT, Peer Exchange, crypto, Magnet/BitComet etc.), and more. Uniquely, it includes a program lock to password-protect the interface.

The program includes torrent creation and even tracker capabilities for serving content. Note that the torrent search feature (if enabled) is not portable.

Clients are also available for other platforms (Mac, Linux, FreeBSD, OS/2) and in ~25 world languages. Alternatively, a PortableApps version is also available.

VeraCrypt is volume encryption software that functions like an attached drive, making it possible to actively work with data like any other drive until the volume is dismounted. The program supports favorites, hot keys, hardware acceleration, and auto-mount options. Includes a variety of available tools for added security including keyfiles, security tokens, hidden volumes, auto-dismount, cascaded encryption and cached password management.

VeraCrypt is based on the inactive TrueCrypt, attempting to solve some of the program's documented weaknesses. The program can open and convert TrueCrypt volumes.

IEPasswordDecryptor is the free tool to quickly and easily recover stored passwords from Internet Explorer. It can recover both Autocomplete and HTTP basic authentication based passwords from IE secret store. User can double click on any of the entry to visit the website which makes it easy to verify sign-on passwords. It also comes with distinctive feature which allows the user to reset the IE content advisor password in case user has lost it.

OutlookPasswordDecryptor instantly recovers lost password for all versions of Outlook where the user selects the 'Remember Password' option during authentication. Only the respective user can decrypt the password.

Bandizip is an archive tool that supports a customisable interface, the searching of archives by file name, file splitting, password protection, self-extracting archives and varying levels of compression. CarotDAV is a simple client for many remote file storage services including AmazonCloudDrive, Box, DropBox, GoogleDrive, Hubic, iCloud, OneDrive, OpenStack Swift, SugarSync and as well as WebDAV, secure FTP, and IMAP. Supports various view settings including detail, small/large icons, drag-and-drop interface, file transfer progress window (with speed listings) and a variety of sorting and grouping options. Note:

• The program only works if the user opts to save or remember the password so that the username and password are stored on the system. Rest assured though most messengers have an auto-login feature that requires the user account information including the saved password for subsequent logins.
• The program later (in v3.0) changed its name to Messenger Password Decryptor), but the main website download link has switched to an encrypted installer instead of a ZIP there, thus linking to Softpedia.

ChromePass is a small password recovery tool that allows you to view the user names and passwords stored by Chromium-based Web browsers. For each password entry, the following information is displayed: Origin URL, Action URL, User Name Field, Password Field, User Name, Password and Created Time.

You can select one or more items and then save them into text/html/xml file or copy them to the clipboard.

WebBrowserPassView is a password recovery tool that reveals the passwords stored by Internet Explorer, Firefox-based and Chromium-based Web browsers. This tool can be used to recover your lost/forgotten password of any website, including popular Web sites, like Facebook, Yahoo, Google, and GMail, as long as the password is stored by your Web Browser.

Currently, WebBrowserPassView cannot retrieve the passwords if they are encrypted with a master password.

To work with Chrome and Opera portable versions, go to 'options' and set the location of the portable browser folder. Select the user data folder in Chrome, and wand.dat for Opera. (Thanks to user "deer".)

Crypto Notepad is a simple, notepad-like text editor that encrypts saved files. Other features include font and color customization, word wrap, shortcut keys, and auto-lock on minimize. You can press the lock icon to hide information without closing the application (will switch to a password prompt).

Utilizes the AES encryption algorithm with available 128, 192, and 256 key sizes.
