Portable Freeware Submission
KeyNote NF is a tabbed notebook that is particularly suitable for writing and organizing free-form information, especially those that fit naturally within a tree-based structure, such as lists or outlines. It supports rich text and images, multi-level notes and strong encryption. A search function quickly locates information you are looking for. Notes can also be securely encrypted using IDEA or Blowfish.
KeyNote NF is a fork of the original early 2000s' open-source Keynote, which is no longer being developed. It adds many new features, including check boxes on children of selected nodes, hidden nodes, alarms on nodes, better treatment of tables, improved treatment of links, multi-language support, automatic compression, etc.

I love this program. Glad someone picked it and started updating it again, if only so it remains running on future hardware and OSes.

I recently moved away from Thundebird after 10 years use because everytime they update it, it breaks something or it runs slower. Slypheed is excellent. Its fast and reliable and doesn`t render html, which is exactly what I need.

@lux Maybe this was an earlier version? Now it stores all the data within the app folder, so portable.

@Kea: Thanks for the warning re. non-encrypted password storage. It's the same reason I ditched filezilla. |
TypeAndRun is a program launcher that sits in the systray. When you hit the hotkey, a small console is displayed for you to type something. For example, if you want to launch the Windows calculator, just type "cal" and TypeAndRun will auto-complete the rest of the word, then hit [Enter] to launch. You can also add aliases and specify various launch options.

Pretty nice application, basically a lightweight version of Launchy. For a command-line freak like me, it's a must-have :).

Oubliette helps you store a list of accounts with sensitive information such as account name, password, URL and free-form notes in an encrypted format so that they can only be viewed with the correct master password. You can copy the information to clipboard or export them to a variety of output formats. There is also a powerful search function with that displays only the records matching your search criteria.
