CCleaner is a system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused, temporary, and log files from your system, as well as cleaning traces of your online activities such as Internet history and flash cookies. Contains a separate registry cleaner and can optionally use wipe features for both deleted files and drive free space.

See the official documentation for information on generating a list of covered programs search for "Export". An unofficial set of community developed cleaning rules can be found here however it should be noted that many of these rules are alpha and the developers will not provide support for these rules, a thread in the users forum is dedicated to supporting the add-on rules.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

System Explorer v5.5.0 Updated

System Explorer is a tool for accessing a variety of system internals. It can also be used as a Task Manager replacement with detailed information about processes, startup entries, explorer/IE add-ons, uninstallers, services, drivers, connections, opened files etc. It has a registry/file snapshot feature so that changes to the system can be computed and displayed in tree view or text list format. It also has a processes security tool that checks your processes against an online database.

An earlier, unsupported version (1.4), is available for Windows 2000 users from the download page.

i need to be able to run this app from a CD, it runs will but when i try to exit it won't close because it tries to write to the app folder (on the CD) and it fails of course, is there anything i can get around this issue?

DropIt provides a floating target image on your desktop that you can drag-and-drop files to quickly process them with a predefined action. Actions include: copy, compress, extract, rename, delete, encrypt, decrypt, open with, upload, send by mail, create gallery, create list, create playlist, create shortcut, copy to clipboard, change properties, and ignore. A destination can be chosen for each association defined, as well as group associations in any number of profiles.

Users can create rules to filter files based on name, directory, size, date, properties, content, or regular expressions. Existing files in destination folders can be defined to overwrite, skip, or rename them. Great little utility. I regularly have a lot of zip files I need to move to different locations. This is a real timesaver.
