Win 10 now includes this by default, for people who have upgraded and still thought they had to use this app :)

Midas on 2017-10-27 10:17

It should be noted that DesktopOK (see https://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1692) also includes similar functionality...

Hello everybody,
Be careful with this update. You can't return to the previous version because incompatibility in the profile, which is modified by FF 57.0.

CornHolio the Gringo on 2017-12-01 20:46

FF v57 uses pingsender.exe to telemetry Your usage.
To awoid this, just delete the pingsender.exe file.

@billon
At first look QupZilla version 2.1.0 seems to have improved significantly compared to version 2.0.2, but it uses far more resources compared to version 1.8.9. I did just a brief testing.

freakazoid on 2017-02-11 22:46

I can confirm what smaragdus said about v2.1.0.

Memory usage hovers around 120-140 MB RAM, but that is to be expected when the core engine is now updated to use QtWebEngine, which is powered by Chromium. To compare, I had an older version of Qupzilla v1.8.6 lying around and that used 210 MB RAM.

It's a good alternative to the existing Chromium-powered browsers, but if you're using a Chromium backend, you might as well use Chromium so you can gain access to the wealth of available extensions out there rather than some homebrewed versions that come with QupZilla.

Looks like the new version number is rounding up... ;-)

Is that a legitimate download site :
I get the following warning msg in Crome:
"The site ahead contains harmful programs

Attackers on www.mitec.cz might attempt to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience (for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit)."

Guido76 on 2016-12-28 08:55

Same problem with Firefox : the site is blocked and it was impossible to directly download this software that i use for a while.
But you could download it, going on the web site at this link http://www.mitec.cz/tmx.html, and by clicking on button up and right on this page.

Guido76 on 2016-12-28 09:01

Sorry, but I forgot to precise you have to use Internet Explorer to download this software on the site Mitec, and not an another browser.
