v2.5 is out

Midas on 2016-02-13 18:09

The entry's description should make clear that what's offered here is the PortableApps package. Upstream Spybot S&D v2.5 ditched XP support, and XP users are advised to stay with v2.4:

https://www.safer-networking.org/2015/spybot-2-5-compatibility/

Moreover, the upstream download page only lists v2.4 (older versions still available):

https://www.safer-networking.org/dl/

Happy.Camper2 on 2017-11-23 02:08

System requirements should not include Vista for v2.6
Complete listing of OS's & Compatibility are at:

Have a Happy Holiday everyone :)

@billon
The portable x64 version (Q-Dir_Portable_x64.zip) is available for download.

Mithril on 2016-03-27 20:53

Well, i found the solution myself. Don't know if this option is new or not but its the first time i noticed. So, when dragging files into another window or tab in Q-dir, at the bottom it says "Start drop in new process"! (and recycle bin and email aswell) ha! and just drop it on this button.. nothing will freez! magic :) Thanks anyway folks.
Q-dir is great.

The Q-Dir 64 installer 6.47 is not installing, last time there was also a problem with the 64 installer. They should be checking first before releasing the installer.

One cannot copy "SHA-384" and "SHA-512" values from context menu or via a hot key- to get "SHA-384" and "SHA-512" values one have to save to file ("Save Selected Items Ctrl+S") which is awkward.

How about dropping a gentle hint to nirsofer@yahoo.com ?

"How about dropping a gentle hint to nirsofer@yahoo.com ?"
If someone does this I will appreciate- I remember that long time ago I messaged NirSoft about something and since I got no response I will not try again. More- lately I am not in a very gentle mood. ;)

@shodan816: Settings are saved to FontViewOK.ini in the app folder. The ini file is automatically created after the first launch. Perhaps the folder where you've installed the app is read-only...

shodan816 on 2012-07-08 18:26

lautrepay: I am very familiar with INI files. What I am saying is that this app does not store the window position you set in the INI file. No matter what you change the windows size to, it will always open in a preset size next time.

__philippe on 2013-08-03 16:26

Above stubborn "preset window size" bug (feature?) still crawling as of v3.75
