Is there any particular reason that there's no download link for 64-bit?

@kiwichick888: corrected. Thanks for noting.

I cannot open the .hlp file. Any suggestions?

__philippe on 2017-10-09 21:25

@Provy

TextDiff.hlp is a windows 3.x Help file. Under Win XP, Explorer will open it just fine.

Under Win7, however, Explorer will barf about an unsupported old file format,
but does suggest to download some sort of conversion utility.

Alternatively, TextDiff.hlp file contents could be converted (under winXP) to a PDF document.
PM me with your email if you want it.

Pendrive on 2023-06-06 10:04

The required winhlp32.exe to read the TextDiff.hlp file is available in three different versions (Win XP, 7 and 10) from https://archive.org/details/microsoft_help_viewer_hlp.

This is a wonderful tool. I use it to remove the read-only attributes from files copied from a DVD-ROM. I love how it does entire directories in one sweep.

David Dollevoet on 2010-11-18 19:57

Multi File Tool 3.0 is effective, easy to use, and super fast.

RecRedDot on 2011-01-07 16:43

It's not to be used for single-file change, works only on one of the three date the file system can manage.

I have found the 3.5.1 version and have linked to the webpage in the entry also here http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/File-management/Windows-Portable-Applications-Portable-File-Seeker.shtml

I have also found a version 3.5.2 it can be found here http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/File-Management/Qytec-File-Seeker.shtml

I have not tested or tried this yet.
