This is my complimentary app to the well known big-one. I'm having trouble renaming a file (F2) it takes 5 seconds to rename it, I had to go back to version 5.3 where it's all fast and normal, no idea if this a bug or a Win 10 thing or something else.

zorro on 2018-02-18 06:05

@xor: must be related to your system. I'm using the newest version on Win 8.1 x64 and just tested all renaming methods - no problems, no delay. All other functions work as well fast and flawless.

@ MILKO: It was entered to the TPFC-database in January, 2007 ... so I won't call it a "new" program.
Maybe it's new to you ;)

Thanks freakazoid but I am already using this version and nothing seems to fix my problem. It could be an option causing this freezing behavior.

Carl on 2015-08-16 11:30

Nevermind, I was not waiting long enough for the indexing to finish. It seems a bit longer with windows 10. Last 64 bits version work fine.

Yay, first official update in five years! Still my favorite launcher!

X-Mouse Button Control v2.18.1 Updated

billon on 12 Jan 2019
  • 7MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 12 Jan 2019
  • Suggested by risk

X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC) allows you to set a variety of controls for your mouse. For example, you can set a button copy, paste, undo, volume up/down, forward-backward (in browser), scrolling background windows and many more.

Changes can be application-specific, meaning simply changing applications will automatically swap mouse controls, but they can also be user-managed and based on a hot-key. So your mouse can work as basic volume controls for your music player as well as back and forward buttons for your browser.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

Must have indeed!

Checker on 2015-10-18 20:50

@billon: There is no "working" EXE file within the 32bit (x86) folder. That's why I presently didn't update to v2.12.

Checker on 2015-10-19 11:46

v2.12.1 has a "working" EXE again.

Everything v1.4.1.928 Updated

billon on 11 Jan 2019
  • 2MB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 11 Jan 2019
  • Suggested by Drutt

Everything is a powerful search tool that locates files and folders by file name instantly, and includes an FTP and Web server interface. It also can search files by their contents. Unlike Windows search, Everything initially displays all files and folders on your computer. You simply type in part of the desired file name to limit what files and folders are displayed instantly. The more you type, the more specific the list becomes.

Note that the instant-search capability only works on NTFS/ReFS-formatted drives and only uses file and folder names in a file index. The program can separately catalog non-NTFS/ReFS and network servers for searching on a schedule.
