8start Launcher is an application launcher that organizes shortcuts into groups and categories. It can be accessed via the system tray, user-defined hotkey or middle mouse button, and helps to keep your desktop clean. It is fully-skinnable with transparent PNG support.

How to extract:
  1. Download the "portable" ZIP package (located on the help page near the bottom, under "Portable - Run in your flash drive")
  2. Extract to a folder of your choice
  3. Launch 8Start.exe
What's new?
  • drag and drop feature added. You can add in the button easily by drag the icon from Desktop, Start Menu, Windows Explorer and even Browser

Yes, I understand that, but the bottom line is the software doesn't work on two of my computers. I much prefer Linux but i still need Windows for some things.

Best in show for me.. tried the others (pstart, portableapps, etc) and non compare. Not the easiest to setup but worth the effort. Running v3.0 on windows 7 x64 like a champ.
