Synkron Portable is a synchronization tool that can schedule automatic backups, supports blacklisting folders and files, and will sync multiple folders across machines on your network.

Idlebackup is a backup solution for common automatic and manual file and folder backups. Files can be saved to a drive, network, or subfolder. By default, the program mirrors file and folder content but available ZIP compression also includes versioning and either separate or a single ZIP file.
Restored files can be sent to their original location or a specified folder. Backup scheduling is limited to a single time cycle, by default every 120 seconds.
Note: Main site offline, linking to the mirror for the last portable version (V1.16d). Later versions write settings to user profile folder.

Still a great program even 8 years later. Although I still prefer AutoVer, this is an excellent alternative. |

ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT) creates a backup or restores your Windows registry. It also supports command-line switches so that automated registry backup can be performed without user interaction.
Alternatively, ERUNTgui is also available.
