1Time can be used as a stopwatch, countdown timer, or alarm. You can configure it to beep or play any media file when the countdown reaches zero, or when the desired time is reached. When minimized to the taskbar, the title is dynamic and reflects the remaining time to go. You can use it to time hours spent on a project, be alerted at a specific time, remind you to take a break at regular intervals (by using the "repeat" function), etc.

There's a bug in the program: the timer seems to take its reference from the Windows clock and when passing midnight, the counter resets to 24:00:00-.

Poweroff enables you to schedule any of the following actions: shutdown, reboot, logoff, poweroff, standby, hibernate, lock, wake-on-LAN at a certain time. It contains a built-in scheduler and allows you to run another program before doing the action, issue a warning message, or wait for a process to finish before performing the action. Command-line options are also supported.

Only if you choose Service, Create Service, I think. Some programs contains functions that are not portable eg. create file association, add shell context menu, add system service etc. It is at your discretion not to activate them if portability is important to you!

Save electricity when you know how long a download or maintinence program is going to run. You can even set the computer to shut down / standby when a given program stops running.

I use this at work to schedule MyDefrag to run at a specific time and when it's done, the computer reboots. No waiting for the defrag to finish! I love this program. |
StopWatch is a simple timer program. The start button is used to start/stop the timer, while the lap button can be used to freeze the display intermediate readings while the timer continues on.
