Stickies work like customizable post-it notes with available styles, fonts, colors and buttons. Notes can be resized or snapped to the edges of other notes to keep them lined up. They can also act as reminders when hidden for a period, until a specified date and time, even upon waking every day, week, or month.
Alternatively, Stickies Portable is available.

In order to use old version notes with the new 10.0a version you hve to UPGRADE from old version to the new 10.0a. You can NOT restore the working folder from a backup because v10.0a uses SQLITE.

DxWnd lets you run many applications that default to fullscreen in a window, ideal for games. The program is a Win32 "hooker" program that intercepts and alters the behavior of window messages and APIs. It picks up events and injects code into the configured tasks to run fullscreen programs in a windowed environment while maintaining expected behavior.

Who are you? Like if gho the main guy behind DxWnd move over to Github, only then I would consider it an "official" repo, but other wise it seems pretty unofficial to me when a random person sets one up.

Tip: no help files are included in recent builds, so it is advised you grab v2_04_10 from Sourceforge which has the most up to date files. |
MultiPar helps protect backups and transfers with error detection and recovery. The program looks at information from any number of files and folders to function as insurance against data loss. The program generates companion "PAR" files that are built from a percentage of the originals, using more space for greater protection (e.g. 10% of the original for already safe methods, 50% for frequent failures).
The program has a wide variety of customizations including format, processor usage, and various other tools available to the standard PAR format. For backups, it can also choose PAR size by available free space (e.g. saving a 3 gig file to a 4.7 gig DVD will mean generating a 1.7 gig PAR file).
Functional in Linux/Mac via WINE. The program supports multi-threading, multiple processors, can recurse subfolders, and functions with standard formats including PAR, PAR2, and (experimental) PAR3 formats.

Rapid Environment Editor (RapidEE) is an environment variables editor. It includes an easy to use GUI and replaces the small and inconvenient Windows edit box, located in the System Information section.
"Environment variables are specially named string aliases for basic system properties. They contain information such as drive, path, or file name. They control the behavior of various programs. For example, the TEMP environment variable specifies the location in which programs place temporary files." (source)

Midas, I've just been playing with this and ran into the problem you described. On investigation I realised that there are two type of environment variables: Text String and Expandable String. Text String variables (orange tag) will not expand contained references to other environment variables when they are used. Expandable String variables (blue tag) will expand their references when used. You can change their type by F6 or via the right-click menu. These two types seem to be a feature of how Windows now stores environment variables internally. |

ColorCop allows you to magnify any part of your screen and pick a color from it using the eye dropper tool. The magnifier supports 1 to 16x zoom, and the eye dropper tool can pick an average color from a 3x3 or 5x5 area instead of sampling only a single pixel. The picked color can be easily exported to various formats required by HTML, Delphi, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic or Visual C++ etc.
Note: versions newer than v5.3 are no longer natively portable (see "What's new?" button above), because they leave traces in the system; as the license doesn't forbid redistribution, TPFC is making the natively portable v5.3 available for download.

Not sure why the author decided to make the settings store in the appData for the newer versions. Older versions are stealth.
