It's not mentioned but it requires admin rights to install a driver. Does it remove the driver on system reboot? I don't know, I couldn't find out very much information besides "there's no installation required". The developer proclaims "It's so simple to use, you don't need documentation." LOL. So much for that. |

I use shredder.exe. It is less than 150kb and fast. As I work, I can move files to be deleted into a 'new folder', planted anywhere. When I am done, shredder.exe takes the 'new folder', and seconds later, it is gone. Loading individual files works fine, too.

MKVcleaver extracts various data from MKV video files. It can be used in a batch mode (loading and extracting data from many files) as well as single file mode. It has a simple interface, but a lot of functionality.
The program is an outdated alternate graphical user interface for MKVToolNix (which is newer and has its own GUI including a 64-bit version).

IrfanView is a viewer for a wide variety of image, audio and video formats. The program includes batch processing, creation of panoramic images, edition of multi-page TIFF files, lossless JPEG rotate/crop and effects such as sharpen and blur. Other tools such as screen capture, scanner, slideshow, plugin support and ability to capture icons from EXE or DLL.
Alternatively, IrfanView Portable is also available and updates drive letters and handles registry keys.

Also note that virtually every new release updates some plugins, and version 4.65 is no exception. Most users may want to go to https://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm and download the 32- or 64-bit package, and dump them into the Irfanview Plugins subdirectory.

I notice in 4.67 that the OCR plugin is updated. It suggests using the Tesseract OCR, which I suspect is not portable. When I test it I will be looking to see if it can be made portable, and if it works with 32-bit Irfanview (there are a number of limitations with the 64-bit Irfanview so I am staying there). |

InsideClipboard displays the binary content of all formats that are currently stored in the clipboard, allowing you to save the content of specific format into a binary file. This is helpful because although something copied or cut from an application can be in many different formats, Windows' main clipboard application only displays text or bitmaps. InsideClipboard can display many more stored formats.

HashMyFiles by nirsoft offers both those options BTW. My most frequent use for hashing programs is finding duplicates. Si I'm using HashMyFiles. It also has a add to context menu option.
