Does anyone know an alternative to Pixie that works well on HiDPI monitors? Pixie doesn't correctly detect the current mouse's pixel on high monitor resolutions well.

@Mixture - Thanks! I decided to go with the original inspiration for Power Toys's Color Picker - https://github.com/martinchrzan/ColorPicker. It's not portable, but it is simple like Pixie. Colora was also a consideration, but it was a bit less easy to use, so I decided not to go with it. ColorGrab is a no-go because it uses Electron which is too heavy for a simple color picker utility.

Very nice. Big help in concert with some PowerPoint work I was doing to try and track down a similar color scheme.

The download site says:

“The CNET Download.com Installer is a tiny ad-supported stub installer or "download manager" that helps securely deliver your downloads from Download.com's servers. We also include offers for carefully screened software that complies with Download.com Software Policies as part of our Installer process.”

Perhaps you can make a (possibly earlier) version available for direct download, or point to another download site.

@sheffieldma: The download link points to Softpedia mirror now. Thanks.
