VaultPad v1.2 Updated

Checker on 28 Nov 2014

VaultPad is a simple text/file encryptor that uses a AES cipher (symmetric-key pairs) to encrypt local messages and RSA/AES cipher (public/private key pairs) for shared messages. Messages are formatted as XML and allow embedding of small files.

A SHA-512 cipher is used to hash passwords, so they aren't stored in the application itself. A MD5 algorithm is used to check embedded files for corruption. VaultPad will handle third party public keys to be able to encrypt/decrypt their files directly.

USBFlashCopy v1.10 Updated

Checker on 28 Nov 2014

USBFlashCopy backs up/synchronizes from external storage on the fly. The program runs in the background and copies all or select files from inserted media to a destination of your choice. Includes available copy throttle speed, minimum free space check to avoid filling up your drive, file filters, and can even be set to only copy from selected drives (by serial number).

New drives plugged in are prompted for a new copy profile and transfers include a progress bar. Ideal for people who do much of their work on remote computers and need to automate the process of backing up their files.

Functional in 64-bit. Note that fully transparent operations (no user notification; runs entirely in background) are only available in the registered version.

SearchMyFiles v2.52 Updated

Checker on 27 Nov 2014

SearchMyFiles is a powerful alternative to the standard Windows search. It allows you to easily find files by wildcard, last modified/created/last accessed time, file attributes, content (text or binary search), and file size. The program is non-indexing, meaning it searches the drive directly, which is often slower but more accurate.

Can also be used to detect duplicate files via the "Search Mode" drop-down box.
