MacMakeup allows you to change the MAC address of any of the network interfaces present on your Windows system. This is sometimes referred as "MAC address spoofing". You can choose a new address of your choice, or get the new one with the help of the tool, which sets the OID part according to your preference.

@randy - well there is no way to spoof the mac address without
adding a networkaddress=spoofMAC to the registry.
@* It probably reports that because it could be used to cause DOS(denial of service) if your MAC is changed. Ie you are on lan and your internet access is based on your mac. If that is changed then you wouldnt be able to connect to the internet

This is an awesome tool, but I think you'll find it makes a registry change to spoof the MAC address. It doesn't write any application settings, but as part of its function its changing the registry. Just thought you might want to know
Now at version 2.2.3.1
