TinyResMeter is a small tool that you can configure to display real-time information of various system resources, including CPU, RAM, process etc. More details are available in a context menu that pops up when you right-click on each displayed field.

Download the single EXE file (0.97 - Executable file) to a folder of your choice. Launch tinyresmeter097.exe. Since Windows Vista TRM must be "Run as Administrator" or some fields will not work. |

this app isnt very stable it has crashed on me 10 times
i tried to right click on "Files" gauge and it instant crash

I found that this application cause clipboard tracking tool to lose the clipboard modifications.
I hope this can be fixed.

Transparency doesn't seem to work in the 0.97 .exe version - I'm running WinXP SP2 using an NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS.

Gilgamech I forgot to tell you that the .exe downloadable version of TinyResMeter 0.97 (0.97 build 1) do not store .ini in %appdata% but the version inside .zip file (0.97.1) does ;-)

Gilgamesh thankx for your comment, the 0.98 will have an option to select .ini storage (it will store it in same place as .exe by default but will permit to store it into user's %appdata% folder), the problem is that under Vista, if you put TinyResMeter in program files, Vista do not permit application to write into its own directory (weird ins't it ?), unless you change directory's permission or start TinyResMeter "as admin" (btw : using AppData follow Microsoft's guidelines).

Sadly the new version (0.97) isn't portable: writes settings to user profile home...

someone has the new version?
As mentioned in PE Soft's comment above, version 0.97 *is* portable if you download the executable file version, it stores its settings in the same directory as the EXE file. I have tested this and nothing is stored in %appdata% or in the registry.
