Love this software to do quick edits (just cutting out a clip from a longer video), or to convert file types (avi->mp4). If the codec remains the same it will be done in seconds!

There is a v2.6.21, only for x64.

I gotta agree with @smaragdus its up to the anti-virus developer to correct their mistake naming something as malware or anything bad when in fact it is not! I have used this software for quite some time and really like and its easy to use & works great.

@MoisheP
You are totally wrong. False positives should be addressed by crappy anti-virus vendors.

v2.6.19

VirusTotal lists the main archive (avidemux_2.6.19_win64.exe) and some of the DLL's as possible malware. This might be due to excessively pessimistic heuristics used by some of the analysis programs, but this should be addressed by Avidemux developers.

@Siegfried Thanks for doing that. I just retested and found that the Qt keys:

* are indeed present when opening a file and interacting with the interface (normal operation of program)
* aren't present if the program is simply opened and then closed.

@shnbwmn Ok.
Btw, in the forum you wrote "Stealth: No. Qt keys in registry", but to me is stealth, no qt (troll tech) keys left.

You don't need a portable launcher (paf, x-launcher, etc.) 'cause the program is natively portable: rename "avidemux.exe" into "avidemux_portable.exe" and you're set :)
