Duplicati is a feature-rich backup client that allows user store compressed, encrypted (AES-256 or GPG) backups locally or on a variety of remote services. The program can save bandwidth and disk writes by only backing up the parts of a file that have changed since the last backup. It can backup open/running programs, on demand or scheduled, and can run in the background with bandwidth and process priority limits to avoid interfering with other applications. Includes support for backups to Amazon S3, Windows Live SkyDrive, Google Drive (Google Docs), Rackspace Cloud Files or WebDAV, SSH and FTP.
Note: As portable software, it necessarily does not run at system startup so the available scheduling tools cannot function unless the program is actually running. To manually run a backup, just start the wizard and select "Run a backup immediately".
Cross platform (Mac/Linux) with available command-line tools.

All website links to this version (that I could find) are dead. Still found here:

v1.3.4
Have you tried Gladinet Free Starter Edition?
It ain't portable, requires DotNET and kinda messed up my system, but it's the only proposition I found...
v1.3.3
Midas: sadly not... I've had difficulty finding any kind of interface for Amazon's Cloud drive that isn't logging in via a web browser. I really hope they open that up eventually.
v1.3.3
Is this in anyway compatible with Amazon Cloud Drive?
v1.3.3
So been testing this out for the last few weeks and I'm very impressed. It's rapidly overtaking SuperDuper -- my favorite backup program of many years -- as the best backup program available. Speed, efficiency, control, as well as ease of restore. I have an excellent, Enterprise-level backup tool that's worked beautifully to date, but Duplicati works better and more efficiently (and it's free).
v1.3.3
Freakazoid: procyon deserves more credit than me, but glad you found it useful. I have a ton of space sitting around unused in online cloud services and thought why not use some of it with an easy, encrypted backup? :) This program does that *beautifully*.
v1.3.3
If you delete the additional languages, filesize is 18.5MB for filesize-conscious freaks like me!
Thanks! Recently found the need to backup some of my working files into the cloud and came across this app in TPFC forums (thanks webfork!). Will come in handy!
v1.3.3
Looks like Duplicati's website has moved. Latest Beta downloads are now at https://www.duplicati.com/download ...
