Famulus is a simple file and application launcher, and Windows Run replacement. Press and hold the numpad * key for a fraction of a second to bring up a text prompt. Type a predefined custom command and hit the Enter key to run an associated file, folder, application or website.

Written in AutoHotkey.

I added the commands famulus and "famulus ini" to manually add/edit commands and settings (and use the mouse less). This is a great find. Thanks, dmg.

An update from my first comment, if you follow the instructions above, the filesize drops to 538kb! :)

To save space, if you don't use sounds, uncheck "Sounds" in the settings and delete the "sounds" folder. Also, delete the "source" folder if you don't plan on modifying the source.

After deleting those folders, you're left with a nifty 846kb launcher!
