System Scheduler Free schedules unattended running of applications, batch files, scripts etc. Intended as a replacement for Windows' own scheduler, the program adds more flexibility and features including popup reminders for appointments, reminders, and events that can be set to run once or every minute, hour, day, week, month, or year.

The program also includes it's own scripting tools for mouse, keyboard and other operations. Additional features are available in it's "Pro" version described on the home page.

How to extract:
  1. Download the installer and extract to a folder of your choice

Almost useful to me, but too many important features are locked under the pro version and $30 is too steep for what I'm doing with it.

Wow, I'm a powerpro user, too. Funny how we are all checking out a system scheduler... I use pycron on my server, however.

I got rid of Windows Scheduler and use nnCron instead. Very simple, flexible, and it uses the unix crontab format.

What's the point of a portable (USB) replacement for the Windows Scheduler? And if there would be a point, doesn't this disqualify itself for writing to the Windows Registry?
