AquaSnap is a resource-friendly window organization tool. Windows can quickly and easily resize to 1/2 (vertically or horizontally) and 1/4 of the screen by just dragging them to an edge or corner. Other available effects include window-stretching capabilities, making a window transparent when moving it across the screen and ability to manually "shake" a window, enabling transparency or minimizing other windows. Various color and design skins are available for window resize feature.
AquaSnap Personal Edition has all the features of the Professional Edition with the exception of mouse shortcuts, window tiling, "move windows together" and multi-monitor support. Package includes a 32-bit and a 64-bit version and a PortableApps format version is also available.

v1.18.0
Cool, thanks shnbwmn
v1.17.1
@webfork: I believe that's the AquaShake feature you're referring to. Shaking a window places it on top and makes it transparent. You'll find that when moving the window the cursor becomes a red pin. This feature as well as the transparency level can be configured in the settings.
On a related note, AquaSnap does have an annoying tendency to keep window transparency or even snapping functionality despite being closed.
v1.17.1
@webfork: I have lived with that problem for quite a while and never even identified AquaSnap as the culprit (I have a couple of hooking visual enhancement utilities like Sizer and Vista Switch). Other than that, AquaSnap has been a pain to upgrade, so I'm officially looking for alternatives -- I only use it for the snapping of desktop windows.
v1.17.1
I was frustrated in limited testing when this program mysteriously made one of my windows semi-transparent and I couldn’t turn it off via any settings or other efforts. Definitely sticking with WinSplit.

v1.15.1

Universal Extractor used for v1.10.0 in the Personal Edition .msi package from the Nurgo site but no checks made for entries outside the application folder.
v1.6.3
The download link (at 14 Dec 14) leads to a zip file containing v1.5.3 rather than v1.6.3. The Nurgo site behind the website link seems to offer only .msi downloads.
v1.6.3
AquaSnap.Daemon.x64.exe can not be launched directly. On 64-bit systems, double-click on AquaSnap.Daemon.exe and the 64-bit executable will be launched.
