a.g.: it dies if you have a (very) bigs hosts file. I am using hostman to map ad-sites to 0.0.0.0 in order to avoid the traffic. that kills QuickConfig when I go to network->hosts [2010-01-28 22:28]

TT: GUI doesn't display correctly with system fonts set at 120dpi. Version 1.1.10.98 was okay. [2010-04-20 22:10]
Intelloware: @TT thank you for your feedback! To fix this you can
1. Open skin file main.html inside the skin folder (C:\Program Files\Quick Config\Skins\Default) remove "height: *;" inside #body and #panel styles
or
2. Just wait for the new release, new version will be released soon [2010-04-21 07:43]
TT: Display problems with 120dpi fonts still exist with version 1.2.3.122. Fix, suggested above , worked okay. [2010-05-26 23:00]

This Tool is perfect for Laptop Users!
Much better and a lot more options than NetSetMan!! [2010-05-27 07:36]
Bruno: Nice application but it doesn't support dual screen or extended screen display. At work I work with TWO screens, at home only with my laptop screen. This is the most important feature for me and it is unavailable :-( [2010-05-27 08:37]

For more general topics (eg. whether apps that write to the registry, leave traces on the host machine, rely on certain versions of IE etc. can be considered portable), please post to the Portable Freeware Discussion forum. If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
