[User] webforkWas not able to get this to work without physically dragging the items I wanted to throw out into the iBin window and then after closing and re-opening the window. I edited this entry for clarity but I don't think this is ready for prime time. [2009-12-28 20:22]

[User] augustocroppoYou mean that the confirmation window is not detect? The hotkeys still works? Try the 2.0 version. [2009-12-29 16:33]

[Anonymous] Hervé TavernierI use version 2.7a in Win7-64 bit (Dutch language)
Hotkeys work but confirmation window is not detected.
Autorun does not work either.
I think Microsoft has disabled autorun.inf in Win7.
Is there a solution for this problems?

[Anonymous] DwayneWell..I'm a bit hesitant to download the file because I wasn't informed that security softwares would detect it as a threat. Personally I'm using Kasperksy Internet Security 2010 and immediately after clicking download iBin2.7a_zip it blocked the page. [2010-01-04 23:45]

[Anonymous] Augusto CroppoThank you Herve Tavernier by the feedback. I will note this comment to revise the iBin code. The iBin at least capture the window details?

Dwayne, why are you so affraid of a file with just 215KB? I am not trying to dominate the world, trust me. And you cand find my software published in the Softpedia.com, Downloadsquad.com, and other blogs with reviews about it. I will a old Norton Anti-Virus to no have to endure and the new and paranoic anti-virus like Kasperky.

[Anonymous] Hervé TavernierYour answer quote:"The iBin at least capture the window details?"
Well when I click on the "Capture delete action windows details"-button in Custom Options, I see some windows passing rapidly. But when I delete a file with right-click "delete" ("Verwijderen" in Dutch) the iBin confirmation window does not open and the file is not transferred to the iBin-directory. Th file is lost.
When I delete a file with the Win+delete hotkey then everything works fine.
And because the autorun does not work, I have to start IBin.exe everytime I use my USB-stick: not very interesting...

[Anonymous] Augusto CroppoHerve, your comment was very important, thank you. I still do not kown much about UNICODE support... You told that you are using the a dutch language version. It's any kind of special charachters in "Verwijderen"?

You Autorun should be a problem of the registry key which allow the operate system load the Autorun.inf file. Its a very good tool call AutoFix.exe in somewhere in the Matrix which you can use it to fix this problem... I wonder where?
 [2010-01-06 00:51]

[Anonymous] Hervé TavernierI don't think there are special characters in "Verwijderen". Well the "ij"-character is not used in English, but it is a combination of "i" and "j" which are common characters in Englisch.
About autofix.exe: I'm not sure if this works in Win7.
I found CleanHandlers as an alternative. Do you know this program. Here is the URL where it can be downloaded: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/autoplayhandlers.htm.
Could this fix my autorun problem with iBin?
 [2010-01-06 22:00]

[Anonymous] Augusto CroppoIn the Download Center from the Microsoft website you can type autofix.exe and find it, but it just for XP... Maybe works in another version if they keep the same register of autoplay.

I still looking for the source of the problem... Could you go to http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=295738&atid=1248464 and paste you iBin.ini stored in the root device?
 [2010-01-07 16:27]

[Anonymous] Hervé TavernierI have send my iBin.ini to the "sourceforge.net/tracker"-adres you gave me above. [2010-01-08 08:38]

[Anonymous] GusBE AWARE! THIS PROGRAM HAS A TROYAN! [2010-01-12 13:54]

[Anonymous] KingMudkipIs it actually a trojan, or is it just a false detect? [2010-01-14 13:03]

[Anonymous] Augusto CroppoA false positive... [2010-01-14 13:09]

[Anonymous] KingMudkipOK, thanks much.

If your virus scanner has detected a virus in the application, please email the author directly or post to the forum. Note that false positives (i.e. flagging a virus when there is actually none) are extremely common for virus scanners. When in doubt, try an online scanner like Online Malware Scanner or VirusTotal, which scans files using multiple anti-virus engines. It is very likely to be a false positive if only a few engines raise the red flag.
