E.G. If a user want revert from AVG to Panda, plus Revo Uninstaller isn't 100% accurate so its always best to have a backup solution.
Download link seems to be dead as does the website at the moment.
Hmm does this mean that I can extend 3-6month free offers?
Every time I've used this, it runs the uninstall programs...I'd be more impressed if it downloaded and ran the individual vendors' removal tools, something you wouldn't normally do yourself.
Well where is 2.2.1.1 ???
Home site give me this 2.2.0.2 !!!
This is not AppRemover V2.2.1.1, but 2.2.0.2. Version 2.2.1.1 does not exist, the version on the developer's website is 2.2.0.2, now new version at this time.
This tool should be clasified as ADWARE.

I'm with Ben, when I my Norton trial ended a lot of times the uninstaller left behind a slew of registry keys and software behind, but the removal tool from their website left nothing behind.
Warning takes a long time to scan, unless i am doing something wrong in excess of 12 hours on both the machines I have tested it on XP SP3, been set up for a while.
@Loner: Your mother didn't teach you manners too well, did she? The Ğlazy folks at Portable Freewareğ are doing a lot of work keeping the site up to date so that lazy guys like you might just grab great software for free. A bit more of a nice behavior could be one of the rewards for their work. So, why don't YOU try a little harder?

V2.2.17.1
AppRemover worked well for me since I need to remove my AV from my Mac and this program supported this removal.
v2.2.29.1
Now released as OPSWATappremover 3.0 and carries with it the OPSWAT toolbar (BHO) for InternetExplorer, Firefox and Chrome that it offers to install as a "favor" to users. Wants to do this EVERY time it is run and the check of the browsers delays startup EVERY time it runs. User has to opt-out every time, or it will be installed.
v2.2.29.1
Why would someone need this program??
It sounds like Revo Uninstaller (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1398, but it works only with Antivirus and AntiSpyware Applications?? Why would you want to uninstall your antivirus software??
