Wrong version number... it's V0.97, not 9.7. Fixed, but everything else is the same.

Combine this with PopSel and you got a pretty decent file launcher!
Great!

"Support for mice with 4 and 5 buttons" - now that's a power user! ;)

"StrokeIt now comes in two versions: Home and Pro. Home is the version you've known and loved for years, while Pro has some extra features that will appeal to business and power users. The Pro version costs only $10.

Exclusive Pro Features:
- Lua Scripting Engine for creating powerful but simple scripts and macros
- Mouse control plugin for controlling the mouse cursor
- Support for mice with 4 and 5 buttons"

anotherComputerUser: get your facts straight before posting a comment like this. It's free for personal and non-profit use. The 10-day trial only applies if you're using it in a business setting, which is a common clause for freeware applications. Rest assured that this program is free for personal use, folks.

StrokeIt appears to be trialware according to website. It's only free for 10 days then requires registration for further use.

A notable feature of StrokeIt (apart from its extensive capabilities and reliability) is the small memory footprint. System Explorere (another terrific app) is currently showing it at 264kB with 1.3MB page file (on Windows XP Pro PS3). Alternative mouse gesture programs that I have tried vary between 2.5 and 30MB. The latter figure applied to GMote last time I checked.

nice software, by default it works with most applications that use standard hot keys.
