Upcoming multi-platform (Windows & Linux) Siren version 3 has reached the release candidates stage: v3.00 RC1 build 902 can be downloaded @ http://scarabee-software.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=339
Siren will now be FOSS under a GPL v3 license.
V2.01
Siren V3.00 alpha is available ... details @ http://scarabee-software.net/forum/viewforum.php?id=13
V2.01
The later versions do support Unicode. Siren is a real renaming workhorse, impaired only by a somewhat steep learning curve -- although, if you browse through the included examples you'll shortly find uses for it. It would only really benefit by including a Windows Help file, instead of the embedded text help...
V2.01
Doesn't support unicode.
Very flexible and powerful... Does the job perfectly
Siren has somewhat of a learning curve, but is the workhorse of file renamers -- and now available also on Linux. Highly recommended.
