They are PHP warnings. PHP scripts on the server work incorrectly and generate warnings which, for some reason, are publicly visible.

PHP warnings are a sign of an unmaintained website. :(

I just had reason to track down a portable VirtualBox yesterday, and I came across the same warnings. I was able to modify the download link to directly download the latest version. Here's a working link:

http://vbox.me/VirtualBox%20v4.0.4/Port ... in_all.exe

Update: In case you're worried about the site having been hacked, here's a link to the VirusTotal report for the linked file: http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/rep ... 1305366786

I am a part of the vbox.me crew. Sorry about this mess. Unfortunately we have haded some issues after a update at our webhost. We will make and update update soon, and maybe new webpage also.

The software itself is being regularly updated, and will continue to be so in the future.

That will be great, if you can take over the role of maintenance and support! I am looking forward to a further development of that project.

As far as you know is this the last download link:
http://vbox.me/VirtualBox%20v4.0.4/Port ... in_all.exe ?

( I ask because on 16/05 there was a new upd of the installer ( 4.0.8 ) and first I download that, but as the starter point to 4.0.4 I preferred to reinstall the package ).
Anyway thanks.

Thank you for you'r positive attitude! I also think that Portable-VirtualBox can have a bright future ahead. I am looking into taking over the project. Ther is a thred about that here: http://www.win-lite.de/wbb/board208-spe ... ds-advice/ .

When I have a basic webpage up I will priority to update it to use VirtualBox 4.0.8.

I have created a new basic site for Portable-VirtualBox that will replace the current.

The new site is live as http://www.vbox.me, but I have just updated the dns, so it may take as long as 48 hours before everybody gets the new site. If you get the old site, try http://new.vbox.me, that should work for everyone.

If anyone spots any bugs or other issues, don't hesitate to post her, or email me directly on "runarb [att] gmail [dot] com".

Topic update: Portable-VirtualBox v5.1.22 released 2017-05-14* (changelog at https://www.vbox.me/changelog/; confusingly it lists VirtualBox release numbers, not Portable-VirtualBox ones).
*) according to Twitter: https://twitter.com /PortableVirtual/status/863831760379031553

Note: Portable-VirtualBox is an installer and launcher for the official VirtualBox freeware.

Portable-VirtualBox is a free and open source software tool that lets you run any operating system from a USB stick without separate installation.
