It's now
V4.3.0 (Released September 03, 2009)
I changed my first posting accordingly.
Changes:
Added: NavPanel: better docking to viewer, both windows move syncroniously now.
Added: NavPanel: path combobox.
Added: NavPanel: options "Show combobox", "Horiz. layout".
Added: NavPanel: filename edits, drag-drop.
Added: option "Show confirmation before opening of unknown files".
Changed: usage of user tools requires NavPanel.

And yet, the 2 files md5 hash values are different!

On the
website they announce a new
V5.5.4 (Apr, 2011), but if you download (portable or installer)
the version is
V5.5.3 (Feb, 2011) 
At least it seems to be portable

5.7.3.0 is out, but
only in the installer version.
http://www.uvviewsoft.com/download.htm ... the current entry is up to date (5.7.2.0). I noticed this difference on the
Softpedia page and downloaded and verified it.
Hopefully there's no ongoing lag between the install (now adware supported) and portable versions.
