firstobject XML editor

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

firstobject XML editor

#1 Post by Local »

I've just checked my inbox (After waaaaay too long) and had a message from Ben Bryant author of the first object XML Editor.
My freeware utility is now portable as discussed here, where with your feedback I made an additional fix:
http://portablefreeware.com/forums/view ... 4523#14523

Your site still lists it as rejected. I've drafted a synopsis in case this will streamline the process of reinstating it:

I think this is up for a submission again.

Thank you Ben for taking the time and effort for making this portable for all of us TPFC junkies.

FirstObject XML Editor is @ v2.40

Free (source code available) and portable (one need to indicate where to store the settings first)

http://www.firstobject.com/foxe24.zip

Should be added to TPFC.

As I mentioned loving it for the occasional xml editing use a couple years ago--I have less use for it now, but still love its simplicity)--I posted it to the database after verifying 2.4 has what the author, Ben Bryant, said it does.
