When it comes to free online file hosting, there are numerous options. I will tell you which two I like best, and why I like them. Then feel free to share your own opinion or recommendation. FYI: Excludes the services that allow you to upload files by placing them in a specific folder on your computer and allowing automated uploading. Example: Dropbox

1) File Dropper
- No sign-up required
- Unlimited uploads per user
- Unlimited downloads per user
- Amazing 5GB file size limit per file

2) MediaFire
- No sign-up required
- Unlimited uploads per user
- Unlimited downloads per user
- Average 100MB file size limit per file

http://localhostr.com gets my vote. Quick and simple; never really looked into the limitations (size, etc.), but I love that you get direct links to files rather than having to go to a page first to download.
