Screen sharing + recording

Is there one program that knows how to both send my screen and record it locally?

Background: I was recently working with someone via a super basic screen recording program and realized I wished I could record what we were doing. So much of it seemed really important and worth referencing later. Certainly I could run ShareX or a similar program and just record my entire screen but that just seems like 2 programs doing essentially the same thing: one of them sending my screen over the internet, the other saving that same screen locally. It seems like a waste of system resources.

Research so far:
Suggestions welcome.

EDIT: as of December 2018, Brosix does not support video recording for their sharing software and it doesn't sound like they have any plans to add it.

EDIT2: I should note that it's possible to use OBS to do both recording AND streaming at once. Since streaming requires a separate server and doesn't have the same featureset as some meeting recording software, I'm not going to consider this issue resolved yet.

TeamViewer? I think it can record what you receive, but I don't know if it can record what you send (record meeting pdf help file).

Sweet, thanks … I’ll check it out. This has the additional capability of allowing you to do remote work, not just screen sharing. So if it records on top of that, all the better.

TeamTalk is also on the plate (no idea how I missed it) and something I'll hopefully get to test soon.

Old thread update: I found two services that let you share your screen and will also record, supposedly for free. I haven't had a need for this but hope I can use this to build some video tutorials in the coming year.

ClickMeeting also appears to have a free option that includes recording:
