Two changes from the release notes will affect users of the portable version, hopefully in a good way:
Two changes from the release notes will affect users of the portable version, hopefully in a good way:
- Support for .NET 4.0 means that Windows 8 users will no longer need to download and install .NET 3; older versions of .NET are of course still supported.
- The update notification mechanism detects that the portable version is running and will offer to download the portable version, not the installer.
