Extract HappyTime Video Converter installer (happytime-video-converter-setup.exe- both Universal Extractor (the updated version) and InnoExtractor managed to extract it but 7-Zip failed), the program is inside {app} folder (everything else can be deleted), locate VideoConverter.exe and run it, all data and settings are saved in VideoConverter.cfg file inside program folder. Check for updates automatically: should be disabled since there won't be any new versions.
HappyTime Video Converter note:
HappyTime Video Converter has been discontinued (most likely the source code has been sold). The last version is 2 years old yet HappyTime Video Converter still works fine, it is fully portable, it has a clean and nice GUI (drag&drop is supported too) and it comes with a video editor and a built-in player. In my opinion HappyTime Video Converter is a very capable video converter with one major flaw- it doesn't support Unicode so videos with names containing Unicode characters cannot be added to the converter. As a workaround such videos can be renamed before processing.
