Suggested by Midas.
Synopsis:
A full-feature internet radio player for Windows, built for Digitally Imported, Sky.fm, JazzRadio, RockRadio and FrescaRadio.
I definitely dig the track listing, multiple servers, and various nice options.
License: BSD (source code is available from the website)
Requires: dotNET 2.0
Portable: Yes: writes to "options.ini"
Stealth: Untested
Home:
http://difm.eu/download (get the "Package" rather than "Installer" version)

That is odd. Thanks for checking that.

Lacking a better solution, I've been using this a great deal lately. So far very happy with the processor usage behind this program: very low CPU (rarely gets above 1%) there and only about 10 megs RAM.

There is also an unofficial web player featured on the homepage:

Wishlist:
- Bug: Fix tray icon functionality: you can't doubleclick the tray icon without clicking the item next to it [website appears to be offline atm, which is why I'm listing it here]
- Display of channels by genre.
- A way to manually edit favorites. I know I should do this via the website but I've had nothing but problems with the stupid di.fm website using Firefox.
- Random station button.

Awesome, thanks. I guess that's my Hanukkah gift.

Sort of a part two wishlist since I can't seem to get into the website they setup.
- (Highest) not requiring admin rights
- Auto-reconnect (sometimes my wireless has a hiccup and the program will give up right away) ... maybe X reconnect attempts? Maybe that's just me.
- Give the source code a standard license, ideally something mentioning patents like Apache 2 or GPL 3. Right now it looks like some variant on the BSD license.
- "Jump list" feature with recent stations played (A jump list is in Windows 7 and above, showing up when you right-click on something in the task bar).
- When minimized to tray, I'd like to have a submenu with favorite stations when you right-click (similar to the submenu for Current Track)
- (Very low priority) Ability to resize visualization window (Right now it's roughly 350x350, would like to, maybe keep the horizontal to 350 so it stays attached to the player interface).

Aww, what a shame
This was really coming along as a solid player. I hope the dev comes back to it.
Edit: checked archive.org without success. The site isn't rendering so I guess softpedia is now the homepage.
