Very old topic update: I just came across some info about
TextPad portability, so I'll leave it here for the benefit of the community...
The installer package available for download doesn't lend itself for easy (
Uni)extraction, nor does it offer to create a portable "
installation".
Nonetheless, once installed, there's is a menu option just for that, dependent on the user having having a license key.
After that option executes, a portable setup will be created, with sub-folders '
config' and '
license' in
TextPad program folder populated with editor settings and the license key, respectively.
A batch file is then used for launching the portable
TextPad:
Code: Select all
@START "" .\TextPad.exe -f config -k license
Please note that I have not verified portable
TextPad stealth status...
