DropIT - Rules help?

#1 Post by virtuallywarped »

Hi,
I am trying to use dropit to process about 4TB of data, yes slowly :)

I have a ton of duplicate data, junk I've collected for years, and so forth. I have a bunch of great rules setup, but I'm getting stuck on some.

I am not sure what to do for the following:

Delete empty folders/sub-folders after files are processed?
Some files on my NAS where I'm running this app against have unix/linux files, so no file extensions are detected by Windows 7. I want to move all these files into a "check it folder" so I don't delete it. But the rule that gets created is a "" rule, which seems to apply to all files, how can I fix that rule?

I also wanted to find out how to get it to run against large folders, not 1tb size, but maybe 40 or 80gb? It seems to just hang and then I kill it. I've been breaking down the folders, and it's Ok, but if anyway knows how to get this working against bigger folders that would be great.

Thx!
