We just posted LibreOffice Portable 3.5.3 in conjunction with the document foundation as well as jPortable 7 Update 4 for portable use. A number of enhancements were made to this version I thought you guys would appreciate.
First off, long install paths are now supported, which is a big deal for some users and a first for LibreOffice in portable form. It took some doing to work around the issues without nixing any functionality or features, but installing to My Documents or multiple subfolders within will now work just fine.
Second, the issues with LibreOffice crashing on some outdated Windows XP machines is now detected and an automated fix offered right as you start up.
Third, portable font use has been enhanced. For most users, using the PortableApps.com Platform's built-in font portablization is a better option, but for those running LibreOffice Portable solo, you now have the same level of functionality.
And finally, the install size has gotten even smaller. Even with all these nice additions, we've gotten the install size a full 1/3 smaller with the option to remove languages you aren't using. So you can run LibreOffice Portable in under 250MB.

LibreOffice Portable 3.5.4 - More Enhancements
We just followed up the 3.5.3 release with 3.5.4 which finalizes all the enhancements we introduced in the last release. In addition to the support for long paths and other neat stuff, we've finalized our language removal techniques which allow LibreOffice Portable to install in under 250MB. These features are no longer experimental and require no double starts of LibreOffice on first run (not manually as it used to or automatically as we did in more recent releases).
