Can confirm. Thanks.
Maybe a more permanent solution is better? Andrew?

Re: First post of topic auto locked after 7 days
@billon, just to clarify, did you unlock any post manually?
@vevy, could you point me to a post that is less than 7 days old that has been automatically locked?
Thanks!

Re: First post of topic auto locked after 7 days
So are you saying auto-locking after 7 days is not a good idea?
Re: First post of topic auto locked after 7 days
Maybe, maybe not. I shared some thoughts earlier in the thread.
In either case, I just want to be able edit my older threads. If the new rule is here to stay, then I request an exception for my posts.

Would it be possible to archive an initial post when it's being edited? That way Vevy could still edit the posts but an archive would be available in the event of a problem?

I will take a look at this suggestion later.. don't have a clear idea of how that might work.
In the mean time, I will work out how to unlock vevy's topics (done).

Could be as simple as a screen capture but I'm no programmer.Andrew Lee wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 10:17 pmI will take a look at this suggestion later.. don't have a clear idea of how that might work.
