Add quick links to phpBB forum posts. Edit: turns out phpBB already has this feature, though it isn't very discoverable IMO. The icon to the left of the post subject is a link to the post.

Should Andrew add this feature to the Forum ???

Actually, if you are familiar with phpBB, the fact that the "document" icon points to the permalink of the message should be ovbious. This works the same across all phpBB implementations, even on most alternative skins.
