clipLogger - simple clipboard recorder [DotNET]

#1 Post by MakoSoft »

clipLogger is clipboard recorder destined to collect text snippets from clipboard.
Text data which were copied to clipboard may be written to file clipBoardBackup.txt.
It is possible to mark recorded text elements (snippets) with date and time stamps.

When we are copying file (pdf, jpg...) to clipboard a full path to this file can be
saved as data. Application may be sent to tray. Quick access hotkey may be set.

This is simple, small and easy to use portable freeware utility,
amazingly useful in everyday work. Here the simplicity is more
valuable than hundreds possibilities in "full" clipboard manager.

Version 4 or better of the .net framework is recommended.

I've seen a LOT of clipboard logger programs but I'll admit this one looks pretty cool.

Questions:

* Settings are saved to?
* RAM use while running?

Explanations:
- Settings are saved to text file clipLogger_settings.ini in folder with clipLogger.exe
- RAM usage is about 6-7 MB (Windows 10 64 bit)

clipLogger - simple clipboard recorder - follow-up

#4 Post by MakoSoft »

clipLogger is an application that allows us recording to file text
snippets copied to clipboard, and moreover using drag and drop we
can write to database filenames with paths and URLs from browser.

clipLogger was discussed at this forum on 02-03 December, 2017.

Important news: improved version 1.3, released on 2019-09-23.

clipLogger is efficiently working, further developed txt data recorder.
The app is well-designed, small, easy to use and has a clean interface.
This is handy clipboard manager-extender that can significantly simplify
our everyday work containing copy text data. I checked it profoundly.

The program is freeware: "Anyone is free to use and redistribute this program".
Settings are written to txt file clipLogger_settings.ini in folder with executable.

More about this software you can read on its home page:

In my opinion, he should be (as quickly as possible) accepted
to The Portable Freeware Collection. It is worthy of this award.
