As much as I like Firefox 57, I like my addons better. I'm gonna stay with FF56 and probably migrate to Waterfox until Firefox 57+ onward has more suitable replacements for my old addons. I know they're gonna keep trying to improve the web extension API's to increase customization.
If I can get at least get a cookie manager addon, flashgot, and improvements on usability with the noscript webext then I might consider finally upgrading. There's Tampermonkey and ViolentMonkey to replace Greasemonkey and at least I know theres Stylus to replace Stylish except for modifying browser appearance. There's still userChrome.css for modifying visuals.
For now I'm just gathering various userChrome.css, userContent.css, userChromeJS, and mozilla.cfg tweaks to prepare. Firefox is still very much the most customizable browser in the market. Just not as easy anymore.
