iSafePDF - Open source software to digitally sign pdf files

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

iSafePDF - Open source software to digitally sign pdf files

#1 Post by perwhis »

I did not find any similar software in the database for digitally signing pdf files, so I submit this quite old software as a portable app. It is a very lightweight alternative for using LibreOffice for signing pdf files.
iSafePDF is a free open source PDF protection software.
it allows you to encrypt PDF document, signe them using a certificate and timestamp the signature.
all those features are PDF standards so your document will be readable/editable with all standard PDF programs.
It's a basic program, which does not seem to save any settings at all, so I believe it is a totally portable solution.

The software can be downloaded at http://isafepdf.eurekaa.org/download-isafepdf/

I'll dig into this myself when I have some more time but some questions that jumped out on me were whether you need an existing cert? If so, is there a place to get one? Can you generate one like GPG?

Also, I think PDF Shaper can now sign PDFs
