TaskSpace - merge multiple applications to a single window

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

TaskSpace is a simple Windows application intended to merge any applications in a single window (task space) to provide fast and -
easy access to multiple applications simultaneously (no Alt+Tab switching and/or searching for a program in the taskbar is required).

TaskSpace is a liteware utility which can be freely used with absolutely no restrictions.

You can register your instance of the program to unlock extended functionality.

- Tray icon for specific TaskSpace.
- "Check for updates" feature.
- "Load presets"/"Save presets"/"Close All" feature : loading/saving of TaskSpace layouts.
- "Hide TitleBar" for attached windows to economize space on the screen.
- All other future features.

Good suggestion Schumi.

Reminds me a bit of TidyTabs PE and WinTabber but with more features and sans tab limitations.

The Youtube video is very helpful (I couldn't seem to watch the videos listed on the homepage): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA1u2P02UyU

The program will make a file manager you like (such as CubicExplorer behave in a dual-pane manner (meaning you can drag files from one view to the other).

Wishlist:

* Ability to hold a button in order for windows to get added (e.g. nothing gets added unless you're holding CTRL or WIN key etc.)
* Putting 3 Apps in a row and resizing them seems to create some redrawing errors. It's a minor issue and corrects itself when you minimize and then restore or just cover up the screen.

License: Not super clear. Looks closest to liteware.

Great. It's nice to find good free alternatives to crippleware. 8)

TaskSpace freeware? TaskSpace not crippleware?

I do not need such tools and do not intend to test TaskSpace but for me from what I read it is not freeware but crippleware/demo.

You're right that it's not freeware but I tested it extensively and I wouldn't describe it as crippleware or a demo. The program is an alternative to some other program tab tools that have some severe limitations, which I think is what Midas is noting.

Anyway, I've updated the entry to reflect the status.
