We've discussed various Android emulation programs that are available for the platform (BlueStacks, Visual Studio), but if you have an application that you need to run as fast as humanly possible, the way to do it is not spend a lot of money on a nice phone. Although there are a few Android laptops out there, I'd rather run it natively under Linux.
