I checked into this program a bit (and updated the entry accordingly). Although I was tempted to refer to it as lightweight, that's always a fuzzy term; wxDownload is a 9 meg download with 4.3 megs RAM when running. By contrast, Free Download Manager is around 33 megs uncompressed and uses 13.5 megs RAM.

Unfortunately wxDownload Fast is abandoned long time ago and nowadays it is barely usable since it cannot handle HTTPS links. Also, it cannot preserve the original server time and date of the downloaded file.

Ouch. I need to add something to the entry about that.

I believe there's a fork/update to this software...
