ERUNTgui - registry backup and restore

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

ERUNTgui - registry backup and restore

#1 Post by JohnW »

ERUNTgui is a graphic user interface for the popular registry backup and restore program "ERUNT" which is already in the PFC database.

A portable version is available from ...

Code: Select all

Tested: Portable

The "Portable Version" is a little misleading, it's a .ZIP file which contains the Setup file. Therefore you have to UniExtract this file and Launch ERUNTgui.exe that is stored in "setup\{app}\files\"

I don't think it should be added to TPFC, because as you pointed out ERUNT is in the database and it seems pointless for something like ERUNT which isn't even convoluted! It's like creating a PortableApps wrapper for CCleaner!

version 1.5 has one of those setup exe's that lets you select "portable" so no uniextract necessary.

is it worth adding now?

Was going to list it as an alternative on the entry but the site appears to be offline. Guess I'll list the Softpedia page.
